Medication may be a commonly forgotten item, but maybe that’s not an issue for you personally. Maybe its just a pair of sunglasses, adapters for electronics, or a credit card. Everyone, at some point, has forgotten something simple for a trip. Reduce your chances with some simple planning. Let this checklist not only be a reminder of what’s needed, but also use it to come up with ideas that may be specific to your circumstances. This listing includes:

  • Checklist of common items to be packed – with this listing you’ll be organized and confident that the little things aren’t forgotten!

  • Travel details – keep all of your travel details in one place, have the important location phone numbers, addresses, and other important details recorded. Giving this list to your emergency contact(s) will be very beneficial, especially if traveling overseas.
  • Emergency contacts – you never know when you’ll need to have this emergency contact information handy; don’t rely on your cell phone always working.
  • Other contacts – keep the contact information for anyone else you might need to check in with during your trip (i.e., pet care, house sitter, baby sitter, etc).
  • Notes – use this space to keep notes associated with your trip. If providing this list to an emergency contact or house sitter, you can use this space to provide additional information that they may need to know.
